Atlantic Nationals Automobile Extravaganza 2010 in Moncton
Beginning Thursday July 8th to Sunday July 11th the 'Atlantic Nationals' comes to Moncton, New Brunswick. Four days of cars, cruising, vendors and live entertainment awaits car show participants and visitors.
Celebrating the car show's 10th anniversary in 2010
Come and see over 2,000 customs, cruisers, classics, and street Rods that come to Moncton to take part in the event. There will be a guided hot rod tour, a cruise night, a downtown car show & street
party, a swap meet, a model car show, a model boat regatta, and so much
more. The automotive-themed children's splash parks is one of Canada's largest at Centennial Park and there will be the Canadian Tire NASCAR Experience. (Friday's events are for participants only)
2010 Special Guest - Gene Winfield!
If you're a fan of the leadsled, you have to be a fan of Gene Windfield because he was one of the first to build one. He is definitely one of the great builders of all time, right up there with George Barris and Ed Roth. The winner of the 2008 Motorama Builder Of The Year award, Gene's custom creations have appeared on Star Trek, Get Smart, Blade Runner, Robocop, The Last Starfighter, Back To The Future II, and more!
With vehicles such as the Reactor, the Spinner, Jade Idol, Solar Scene, King T, Strip Star, and Maybellene, Gene has been described as an innovator, an artist, and a visionary genius. The Atlantic Nationals is pleased to welcome Gene Winfield as their 2010 Special Guest.
