Permanent Exhibit The Moncton Museum hosts a
collection of artifacts and photographs recounting the region's
history. Many of these objects are part of the Museum's permanent
collection. This exhibit relates Moncton's history from the time of the
Micmacs to today. There are treasures to discover from the period
preceding the Deportation of Acadians, the time when agriculture was
Moncton's primary economic engine, the golden shipbuilding years and
the railway era.
Guided bilingual tours The Moncton Museum offers guided bilingual tours to interested
organizations, schools and groups. For more information or to book a
tour, please contact the Museum.
Research and Archives The

Westmorland and Albert Counties, Moncton city directories and other
related histories. The Museum has a research library for the use of
staff and the visiting public. Those who wish to consult the archives
