The Olivier Soapery is recognized as the leading authority on the history, the evolution and the art of soap crafting. The Soapery Heritage Collection offers several objects from the past associated with hygiene and cleanliness. All of these accessories make it possible for visitors to follow the evolution of the concept of hygiene from antiquity to the present day.
Old bathtubs, basins and chamber pots, soap holders and soapmaking tools are presented alongside an account of the history, the industrialization and the future of soap and skin care. Today it seems obvious that soap and water play an essential role in personal hygiene and in washing clothes. But this was not always so.
The Soap Museum of Canada also presents books, magazines and research documents:
The history of cleanliness, the properties of essential oils, public bathing customs from around the world. Visitors interested in learning more can find reading material here on a host of subjects related to soap, skin care, olive oil, essential oils, the concept of hygiene and more.
Olivier SoapArt Collection - Limited Editions: To date, the Olivier Soapery has reproduced the work of six artists. Every year, Olivier selects an artist and commission a new unique SoapArt work.

Winter demonstrations require reservations. For the summer season - June 6th to Sept 1st - the demonstrations are at 10:00 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 2:00 p.m., 3:30 p.m. and 6p.m..
The lively and entertaining shows will take you through the history of the Acadians and you will learn all about beauty, cosmetics and skin care.
Olivier Therapeutic Olive Oil Skin Solutions are crafted by the Olivier Soapery and the Olivier team of experts have been recognized by Heritage Canada, Health Canada, Human Resource Development Canada and Industry Canada, the Canadian Tourism Commission, La Commission du Tourisme Acadien and the province of New-Brunswick.
