Moncton Industrial Development : Working to Promote the Economic and Industrial Development of the City of Moncton

Moncton Industrial Development (MID), a non-profit corporation was established in 1959 as a joint partnership of the City and the Chamber of Commerce for the purpose of promoting industrial development through the establishment and development of a new industrial park.

Today, the organization owns and operates two industrial parks within the city area - the Moncton Industrial Park and Caledonia Industrial Estates.

Working to attract new business to the community or working with local business, MID provides the following services to business:

• Site selection and land sales in the Moncton Industrial Park and Caledonia Industrial Estates;
• Space identification. Identifying available manufacturing, warehousing and office space for clients wishing to lease or purchase existing buildings;
• Introduction, as requested, to local property owners, developers, contractors and so on;>
• Working with contractors, developers to assist with project details and approvals;
• Providing local market area information and data;
• and, Promotional information on the City and the industrial parks in particular.
