The Moncton Industrial Park was launched in 1960 with the acquisition of 128 acres along what is now Baig Blvd. The park has been an integral force in the development of the City of Moncton as a major player economically in Atlantic Canada.

Now operating at close to full capacity, the Moncton Industrial Park’s own growth has mirrored the expansion of the city in the volume and quality of companies in the park.

Operated by Moncton Industrial Development, the Moncton Industrial Park is the largest industrial park in New Brunswick in terms of the number of companies located there. At 600 acres, it includes such powerful entities as the Armour Transportation Systems, Terrain Group, Norampac, and New Brunswick Ambulance Services to name a few. All of the lots are now sold and most of the space has been in-filled through new developments and expansions. Some recent developments include a major expansion of Armour Logistics’ now 300,000 sq. ft. warehouse, the handsome new building of Terrain Group, and Advantage Hardware’s new facility on Edinburgh Drive. Other projects over the past couple of years include All-Tech Solutions, Countertops Plus, Gentek and Altra Alarm. These companies join a wide variety of businesses such as IT company Sitel, local moving company Geldart’s Warehouse and Cartage, jewellery manufacturer and retailer itaCast, pita maker Fancy Pokket Bakery, Lighthouse Self-Storage, Hitech Power Sports, and many more.

Recently, Moncton Industrial Development has acquired an additional 560 acres adjacent to the Moncton Industrial Park extending from the Berry Mills Road to Delong Drive. This added land will effectively double the current size of the Moncton Industrial Park, allowing for new development opportunities as new streets open up in the years ahead. Thus, the future bodes well for this important industrial centre. Strategically situated on the west side of the City of Moncton, the Moncton Industrial Park is adjacent to Wheeler Boulevard and it has easy direct access to the TransCanada Highway via the Berry Mills Road.
