At Amarosia Organic Garden we grow a wide range of vegetables, herbs and annual fruits including some more unusual items such as eggplant, ground cherries, fava beans, melons and garlic. We grow our fresh produce organically out of respect for the soil, air, water and the community and our farm has been certified organic since 2007.
Fruits and vegetables that are fresh, local and organic
Our fresh produce is available through our Farm Share Program which is a kind of CSA (Community Supported Agriculture). Members buy a 'share' of the harvest in advance and receive a box of fresh organic vegetables each week from June to October.
Organic seedlings and Heirloom tomatoes
For people who have their own gardens, we offer a wide range of organic heirloom tomato seedlings in every colour, shape, size and flavour imaginable plus organic seedlings of herbs and other vegetables including squash, melons and peppers.
Organic Gardening Classes and Workshops
We also offer extremely popular organic gardening classes in the Spring followed by hand-on organic gardening workshops during the Summer. Our 'Foodie' classes in the Fall offer participants the opportunity to taste test a wide selection of different vegetables and fruits and experiment with new and different recipes.
