Kaleidoscope Art Program: Project Launch
When: May 24, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Where: La Teraz, 154 Church Street
The public is invited to attend the launch of a one year mentorship program with three levels of artists working, learning and creating cooperatively: A living kaleidoscope.
The Kaleidoscope Art Program includes: Youth Quest, 'Youth Eco-Art Exhibit' and 'Iquitos, Peru Project' (inspired by Cameras for Healing)
Meet the amazing artists and see the unveiling of the Peru Project photos - special guest is Canadian entertainer Patricia Léger.
Entrance is free
ALSO:
Youth Quest Central will host an open house on the same day, May 24, showcasing artwork created by youth of “Themes to Come” over the past five years.
They are located at 199 St George Street, and the exhibit will be from 1 to 3 p.m.
Participating established artists are Cathy Linfield, Georgette Bourgeois, Grace Ward, Elaine Amyot and Charlaine Gauthier.
